They will be relatively unknown Samurai/Ronin, eventually be recruited by a Magistrate as Yoriki, and then earn their full Magistrate status as the game progresses. They will, however, start after the events of their tournament so as not to be redundant. Using player knowledge of the Topaz Championship, I intend for their PCs to have participated in a similar experience. We are wrapping up the 5e Beginner Box as an introductory demo, but then the players will create their own PCs for the campaign. We will be using 5e, but I'm going to draw from the full library of adventures from 1e-5e. I'm new to L5R and may be running a campaign for a group of players also new to the setting and rules. ![]()
